Service & Warranty Technicians

Purpose:

Our Service & Warranty Technicians are responsible for enhancing the Stranville Living experience by providing in-home, hands-on service to our customers from pre-possession throughout the warranty period. 

Departmental Core Functions: 

• Deliver an exceptional experience to our customers. 
• Attend appointments, document concerns, and provide solution. 
• Provide guidance and education regarding the maintenance and operations of our homes directly to our customers. 
• Ability to undertake various types of repairs including but not limited to painting, drywall, caulking and carpentry. 
• Complete pre-occupancy touch ups to prepare homes for turnover. 
• Work with and maintain relationships with sub-trades and suppliers including coordination of repairs. 
• Sufficient knowledge and experience in residential construction to handle various customer inquiries. 

The Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of customer service experience in residential construction is an asset 
• Ability to interact with homeowners in a calm, patient, and positive demeanor under all circumstances 
• Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trades functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.  
• Enthusiastic, positive, and self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills 
• Strong basic knowledge of residential construction 
• Must have hands-on experience working with tools 
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment 
• Valid driver’s license 

General Team Functions:

• Active participation in weekly service meetings. 
• Active participation in team building events and team outings. 
• Collaborates with Construction Manager in setting professional goals. 

Required Reporting:

• Completing required safety paperwork
