As we wrap up 2024, Stranville Living Master Builder is proud to reflect on a year filled with growth, achievements, and exciting new beginnings. From award-winning homes to expanding our reach into new communities, we’ve had a remarkable journey, and we’re thrilled to share the highlights with you. 

Award-Winning Excellence 

This year, we continued to raise the bar in home building, earning Builder of the Year 2023 and an impressive six additional awards from BILD Lethbridge, including: 

• Best of Parade of Homes People’s Choice: The Perth II 

• Best Multi-Family Unit: The Prestwick 

• Best Ensuite over $650,001: The Cullen 

• Builder Safety 

• Best Single Family Home ($800,001 – $1,000,000): The Cullen 

• Builder’s Choice: The Cullen Butler’s Pantry 

In addition, we made it to the finalist list for two amazing projects at the 2024 CHBA National Housing Excellence Awards: 

• “The Cullen” in the Best Detached Production Home (2,401 to 2,800 square feet) category. 

• “Who Deserves Better?” in the Best Long Video (45 seconds and longer) category. 

“Who Deserves Better?”, directed and produced by Kurtis Hawkins, touched many hearts and went on to win the Best Long Video award, highlighting the impact of our community initiative. We’re incredibly grateful for the recognition and celebrate these accolades with our talented team, trade partners, and loyal clients. 

The Cullen

2024 “Who Deserves Better?” Program 

Our commitment to giving back to the community remained at the heart of what we do. The second annual Who Deserves Better? program culminated in a life-changing home renovation for the Molyneux family. This initiative showcased the power of community and the impact that a beautifully transformed home can have on a family’s life. Learn more about the Molyneux renovation here. 

Expanding Horizons: Merger with Ashcroft 

A significant milestone this year was our merger with Ashcroft Homes and the expansion into Crowsnest Pass and Sparwood, effective January 1, 2024. This merger allowed us to bring our expertise and passion for quality craftsmanship to new markets, creating beautiful homes in some of Alberta and British Columbia’s most scenic areas.

New Show Homes Opened in 2024 

In 2024, we unveiled stunning new show homes in three sought-after communities: 

Country Meadows – 702 Violet Place West 

This stunning two storey home is our Brechin home model with 1995 square feet of luxurious living space. With a bright neutral colour palette and bright wood cabinets, this show home is a must-see. Read the Country Meadows show home blog post.

Our Hemsdale show home opened in the fall and was an instant fan-favourite. With eye-catching details like wood beams and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace surround, this show home brings out the best of BlackWolf. Read the BlackWolf show home blog post. 

Copperwood – 51 Miners Road West 

Our last show home grand opening of the year was in Copperwood with our Kinley model. Its 2150 square foot floor plan is highlighted by rich, red-burgundy cabinetry and hardwood flooring in an elegant chevron pattern. Read the Copperwood show home blog post.

Building Momentum 

With cuts in interest rates and influxes of people moving to Southern Alberta and British Columbia, 2024 proved to be a busy year for Stranville Living Master Builder!  This year, we celebrated: 

• 56 homes sold across Lethbridge, Crowsnest Pass, and Sparwood. 

• 66 new homes started in these communities, ensuring more families find their dream homes in 2025. 

We also began work on The Plockton, an exciting development of 14 affordable duplex units in Southbrook. These homes reflect our commitment to delivering quality housing options for all families. Read more about our Plockton duplexes here. 

A New Office for Stranville Living 

In 2024, we relocated to our new offices to 1515 33 St North, Lethbridge, Alberta. This space includes a state-of-the-art design center where customers can meet with our talented designers and make all their selections in one convenient location. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to providing a seamless and enjoyable home-buying experience. 

Looking Ahead to 2025 

The coming year promises to be our most ambitious yet. As we look to 2025, our focus is on achieving significant growth across Lethbridge, Crowsnest Pass, and Sparwood. With the opportunities available in our established and new communities, we are excited to increase production, making comfortable and beautiful homes for families and individuals in our area more attainable than ever. We’re also excited to expand our presales program, offering more custom and tailored home-building experiences to meet the unique needs of our future clients.
